About LEIAdmin

LEIAdmin is an LEI management platform that helps financial institutions and platforms register, renew, verify, and monitor LEIs — either directly through our dashboard or via API integration. It is provided by LEI Register, one of the world’s largest LEI Registration Agents.

Visit the registration page, create your account, and choose your preferred currency for transactions and invoices. Signing up is free; no cooperation agreement required. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.

LEIAdmin gives you a centralized overview of all your LEIs, bulk registration and renewal, a single payment for multiple LEIs, API integration for full automation, a dedicated account manager, and a monthly account overview via email. Partners managing three or more LEIs also receive LEI certificates at no extra cost and benefit from competitive pricing.

LEIAdmin is built for financial institutions, investment platforms, fintechs, and wealth and asset managers that manage LEIs on behalf of their clients. If your team registers, renews, or monitors LEIs for multiple entities, LEIAdmin gives you a single place to manage it all. View our solutions.

About LEIs

A Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is a unique 20-character code that identifies legal entities involved in financial transactions. LEIs are mandatory for derivatives trading, securities transactions, and other regulated financial activities. They were introduced after the 2008 financial crisis to improve transparency and reduce financial fraud in global markets.

Most LEIs are registered within 30 minutes to a few hours. In some cases, the process can take up to 24 hours, typically when ownership structure verification is required.

You can verify an LEI’s status through LEI Lookup, the GLEIF Global LEI Index, or via LEIAdmin’s LEI Lookup API.

Yes. All LEI data is publicly available through the GLEIF Global LEI Index and other databases. This transparency supports due diligence and regulatory compliance across global financial markets.

LEIs must be renewed annually to keep the entity’s information current and accurate. Regular renewal ensures ongoing regulatory compliance and reflects any changes in the entity’s legal structure or ownership.
